Docraise Help

Create documents faster, without getting lost.

A short guide for the current Docraise MVP: template first, editor second, Workspace when you want saved daily documents.

Choose a template

Start from an invoice template. Receipt, estimate, and proforma documents can follow the same design style later.

Fill your document

Use the right properties panel or click editable text directly on the canvas.

Adjust the design

Use the Design panel for modular header, body, footer, colors, fonts, paper size, and accent graphics.

Preview or move to Workspace

Preview checks the real output. Workspace locks the design and keeps daily value editing simple.

Editor

  • Properties control the actual document values.
  • Canvas inline editing is synced with the properties panel.
  • The eye icon hides a field without deleting its data.
  • Preview mode removes guide placeholders and editor-only outlines.

Design panel

  • Header, body, and footer presets are modular and can be mixed.
  • Paper color, text color, table color, and guide color are independent.
  • Accent images and shapes stay behind document content.
  • Transform controls are for small alignment adjustments.

Workspace

  • Login is only needed when you want Workspace.
  • Design and labels are locked after moving from the editor.
  • Workspace documents focus on values: client, items, dates, totals, and notes.
  • Export and share actions live in Workspace for the daily workflow.

Language and currency

Document language and currency live in the top toolbar so users can keep content and money settings clear.

Export

Preview and print keep vector PDF output. PNG export is available for lightweight sharing workflows.

Privacy

Editor data is local-first in this phase. Workspace login is used only when users intentionally enter that flow.

FAQ

Do I need an account to create an invoice?

No. You can open the editor and create a document without signing in. Login is for Workspace and saved document flows.

Why do placeholders disappear in preview?

Placeholders are guide text for editing only. Preview, print, export, and Workspace final output render empty fields as empty.

What is the difference between Editor and Workspace?

The Editor is for designing the document. Workspace is for reusing a locked design and editing transaction values quickly.

Why is feedback limited?

Feedback can be sent without login, so Docraise limits one feedback message per IP hash per 24 hours to reduce spam.

Still stuck?

Use the feedback button in the editor to report rough edges or confusing parts.
